Windows Updates

Consider changing how updates are delivered. If you leave it automatic your PC may reboot at any time to complete some updates, if you change it to the other setting it will ask you first! You may also want to change where the updates come from…

Click on Settings (from the Windows Start button) and then Privacy. Then open advanced settings. Then decide whether you want updates to be dealt with automatically and whether your PC will be available to PCs on the internet to download updates.

This panel decides whether to use your PC as a loading station for other machines. I think it would be OK to allow other machines within your local network to operate in this way (because you know who they are), but opening it up to the internet sounds like a step too far! My advice would be to either switch it off completely or restrict to your own network.
